On April 9, we filed an amicus brief
in the case of United States v. Wurie. At issue is whether the police can seize and search your cell phone after you are arrested, and without
a warrant. We are opposing such police searches, urging the Court to again reject the artificial "expectation of privacy" test and again apply the
property principles embodied in the Fourth Amendment.
Tomorrow, April 29, 2014, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral argument in this case.
To explain what is at stake, we wrote an article for
The American Thinker which ran this morning.
