Attorneys Alicia Kutzer and Bill Olson discuss our amicus brief filed at the U.S. Supreme Court in Stovall v. Jefferson County Board of Education, where we supported the fundamental rights of parents to be the final decision-makers raise and direct the upbringing of their children in accordance with their personal traditions, values, religion, and culture.
This case challenges public school policies which undermine these rights by hiding from parents the learning materials presented to their children, using copyright protections of third-party authors as an excuse to circumvent the legitimate parental inquiries and imposing gender and political agendas upon children.
